Rockin' Ling Stew
 |
Do yourself (and your heart) a favor and think outside the deep fryer—at least for one meal this week! While hot, crispy and golden fish fillets are definitely one of life's greatest pleasures—especially when prepared on some remote Canadian island only minutes after the catch—there are a lot of other tasty ways to prepare fish.
Like fishing food writer Ryan Pfeiffer's "Festive Fish Stew" recipe, which is just the thing to warm up your belly on a cold winter evening. Although he recommends using eelpout, marlin or black cod, we think the recipe would be just the thing for crappies or 'gills as well.
So impress your family, friends—heck, maybe even your date—with a recipe that's sure to convert even those folks who say they don't like fish! |
